Challenging Myself
I had enough of going to salon that just doing for the sake of doing; I need my stylist, please. All the years that I cut my hair, there are basically 2 salons that I approved off, the one Kedai Nyonya at my hometown which when I started going there, the price of chopping one hair was only RM 8.00 and lat I went, about a couple of years ago, has been a whopping RM 16 per cut! Well, not that I am complaining, but that is double jump! And I don’t know how much they are charging now.
Another place my go to was A Cut Above at Pavilion. A simple haircut would cost me over hundred fifty and additional RM 50 for private room. Haha I didn’t even blink an eye for that kind of money.
Why?
Well, that was money well spent. I enjoyed the pampering, the soft massages, soothing background music and of the the privacy of a room all to myself; just me and my stylist. It’s kinda me time. When I took of my hijab, there’s no one else that could see me, (just my stylist, of course) I may take my own sweet time to enjoy my hot tea, free hair, reading, browsing the latest magazines. When I ready to go, put on my hijab and leave. All smiles and satisfaction that’s very difficult to describe.
I need that!
I need to pamper myself again. Leaving the metropolitan doesn’t mean that I have to settle for less. It’s only 2 hours drive and I need that. I will do it!
I am challenging myself to set up an appointment. Oh boy! This is exciting. I will definitely update in this blog once I set an appointment.
Wish me luck.
