What to expect after you quit and How to Overcome it
Once you've decided to take the decision there are some matters that would affect you life. Well, for a start I'll list a few that I've encountered and how to overcome the situation.
- Friendship / Colleagues
Quitting your job is a game changer. If you are used to be confident,
independent surrounded by friends and colleagues, be ready to lose all that.
Your closest colleagues will disappear one after one, slowly but surely. Your
opinion on your specialized subject matter does not matter anymore, and NO ONE
wants to hear what you have to say. Suddenly you are invinsible, even in the
whats app group!
Nevertheless this would be the best time to reorganize your life!
You’ll know who your real friends are. Loose the idiots as you do not need them
but keep those who are always by your side during thick or thin
.
- . Paranoia
The first year after quitting your job, you would become paranoid. You
would thought that you were unloved, and that people hated you for not having a
job. You even have the notion that your family is against you and got scared of
the idea that you’ll end up alone without any friends AND family.
Turned that paranoia to something that is beneficial to you. Be open
and discuss it with you family members instead of bottling it up inside you.
You’ll end up closer to those who LoVes your dearly!!! REMEMBER: No one can
read your mind!
- Lost of income
When you quit your job, you’re no longer earning any regular monthly
income. Are you ready to accept the fact that you would be penniless? (just a figure of speech. You'd not become penniless...) Would you
mind to ask money from your other half? How would you feel not being able to
contribute to the family? Are you ready to change your lifestyle? These are
some of the questions that many of us asked ourselves before taking the leap.
And I would say that this is one MAJOR reason that many of us refuse to let go. Many would end up continue working on the job that they despised (some
are still saying that they LoVe their job) earning low salary, continue to
grumble and complaining, carrying the workload to their home and at the end
affecting the quality time with the family.
To overcome this, explore and focus on your inner strength and what you
do best. Expand it. You’ll be surprise of what you can actually do!

- Depressed
With no income, no friends, you’d tend to be depressed and feeling useless.
STOP BEING SORRY FOR YOURSELF!!!!! Use this time
to re assessed you faith. Pray more and re-visit your book of religion.
- Losing dignity
When your ideas does not matter, no regular income, losing friendship,
you’d feel worthless.
Forget that feeling. Recount your blessing. Tell yourself
“hey! Been there done that!!!” and continue to do what you do most and loving
every minute of it!
BUT.......
The best of tips EVER, once you've decided to take the plunged.......
"KILL THAT NEGATIVITY VOICES THAT IS TALKING TO YOU!!!! THEY ARE YOUR WORSE ENEMY!!!
Best of Luck :):)
Lots of LoVe...
